The 7s provide you with many important features, but because we (Pure Hearing) have such aggressive pricing on the 9s it usually makes more sense to purchase 9s. If you are paying around the same price, you might as well get the Premium model.

All Access Directionality

• ReSound's All Access Directionality is a feature that automatically adjusts the directional microphone patterns of hearing aids to provide optimal sound quality in a variety of listening environments. It does this by using an environmental classifier to monitor the acoustic environment and switching between different modes with specially designed directional patterns. This ensures that hearing aid wearers can effortlessly engage with people and surrounding sounds as they move through their daily listening situations. In noisier situations, All Access Directionality uses a new binaural connection to create a stronger, more focused beam for sounds in front of the listener. Compared to traditional directionality, it provides up to 2 dB better signal-to-noise ratio.

Ultra Focus

• Ultra Focus is a feature of ReSound hearing aids that helps wearers focus on the person they are talking to in noisy environments. It does this by using microphones in both hearing aids to create a directional beam that focuses on the sound in front of the wearer. This can help to improve speech understanding by up to 30%.

Understanding Naming & Optional Features

ReSound’s naming convention can be a little confusing, so hold on tight.

• Chip - Nexia is ReSound’s most current micro-processer.

• Tech Level - 7 is ReSound’s advanced level.

• Models:

  • 60S - Micro RIE (receiver-in-ear) - Rechargeable (the smallest size)

  • 61 - RIE - 312 battery (a little larger)

  • 62 -Standard RIE -312 battery + Tcoil (largest size)

• We only list the 60S (smallest size and rechargeable) but if you want the 61 (battery version) or 62 (battery+Tcoil) just let us know.
